Description
The Aibonite English multi-seat sofa is made for the primary seating position in a large living room. Its proportions follow classic English furniture: rolled arms, a high back and a rectangular multi-seat body, with two seat cushions that leave room to settle in and rise with ease.
The frame, legs and body are all solid mahogany, a close-grained wood with a reddish-brown tone that contrasts with the leather. Seat and back are upholstered in imported oiled wax leather, which keeps a natural surface and deepens in color over time.
Detail work sits at the edges and faces. Button tufting across the back and seat creates a regular rhythm of shallow folds, while hand-set copper nails run along the trim. The copper and the burl-and-shell marquetry share the decorative surface; the marquetry inlays shell into a burl pattern and is the most recognizable part of the piece.
Place it against the main wall of a living room as the receiving seat, or in a study or sitting room reading corner. The reddish-brown leather and dark wood read as steady, and hold clear layers against pale walls and stone floors.

- We will not ask you to ship the furniture back — return freight on large items usually costs more than the piece itself.

Frequently asked questions
Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
