The 2269 takes its mid-century cue from proportion rather than ornament. The frame is a clean rectangle, the headboard is a firm flat panel held by slim turned posts, and the edges are kept simple — which is why it settles into bedrooms built around wood tones, oatmeal linen and soft greys without fighting anything else in the room. The deep brown stain is applied so the grain stays visible, and it pairs naturally with walnut and cherry case goods.
Construction is solid wood throughout: headboard, frame and legs. The firm headboard is the defining detail. It stays rigid against your back when you sit up to read, and it won't develop the sag that padded headboards often do over time. Post legs lift the bed off the floor so the mass of a dark wood frame reads lighter, which matters in smaller rooms.

Where does your furniture come from?
We select furniture directly from partner showrooms in Foshan, alongside surplus and end-of-season opportunities from established lines. We do not hide where the value comes from: we look for pieces that can stand up to showroom presentation, buy directly, and pass the saving on.
What's the quality like?
A showroom is an unforgiving place to judge furniture: colour in daylight, joinery, upholstery, scale and finish are all visible up close. That is the standard we use when selecting: the piece has to be good enough to be presented on a showroom floor, not merely cheap enough to sell.
Is there anything I should know before ordering?
Two things we'd rather you know up front, so there are no surprises on delivery:
- Much of our inventory is surplus stock. We do not present it as anything else, but surplus is not the same as poor quality. We disclose the actual condition of each piece before sale.
- Some pieces may be showroom samples with light handling marks. We inspect every piece before shipping and send you video of the actual goods to approve.
- Some designs are quite distinctive and won't suit everyone. That's a matter of taste rather than quality. If you're unsure, ask us and we'll send you actual photos and details.
Is everything in stock? Can it ship immediately?
Yes — the vast majority is in stock and ready to ship right away. In the rare case our system is out of date and an item has sold, we tell you immediately and help you switch to another piece or get a refund.
What is the minimum order and how is freight calculated?
The minimum order value is $5,000 per shipment. Below that you can still order — we hold the goods and ship them together once your combined orders reach the minimum. We ship by the container, so mixing items cuts your freight cost significantly.
